Light Is A Lair (Death Note AMV - Liar by Rollins Band)

Finally got around to uploading my submission to last year's (2009) Otakon AMV contest. Didn't make it in last year, which is kind of disappointing, since I consider this my best work to date. Ah well, I haven't really done any AMVs since, so I may submit it again this year, who knows?

It goes without saying, I would hope, but I do not own, nor claim to own or have any rights pertaining to Death Note, or Liar by Rollins Band. They are the property of their respective owners. I think Henry Rollins would be cool with this. Dunno about Madhouse, but I met Masao Murayama twice and he seems like a cool guy. ^_^

@Soulvws - Otakno is the largest anime convention on the East Coast of the U.S., and the second largest in North America, after Anime Expo. Over 25,000 fans attended last year. Every year they have a contest for AMV creators. Two years ago, my FLCL/Firewater video "Sex and Violence" was a finalist in the Action genre. Last year I submitted this video to the Drama genre, but I didn't make it in. Hope to have a new vid finished to submit this year! Thanks for your kind words!

It is a bloody shame that this song didn't win last year. I love Deathnote, and this song fits Light in every way. I love how you sync up the lyrics and the videos that shows the two sides of Light and how you break him out revealing for what he truly is...from the word of Ryuk. He truly is...a shinagami. Nice work, keep it up. Your bound to do better this year. Good luck.
