  • It's weird how flat Phoenix looks in this vid. Because I live there and when I go driving I see the mountains everywhere.

  • @heyimAWESOME12: Perhaps my future AZ 51 and I-17 videos (north of Loop 101) will show off a lot more mountain scenery. By the way, have you watched my newest video (I-15 in the far northwestern corner of Arizona)? Brand new annotation style and presentation.

  • HOV line, wath does it means?? everione have a nice holidays!! regards from guadalajara mexico....

  • An HOV lane is a carpool lane; your vehicle must meet a minimal occupancy requirement (most HOV lanes in the United States and Canada require at least 2 people). So if the lane is designated HOV 2+, you must have at least 2 people in your vehicle to enter the lane.

  • Thank you for this video. Im away from home for college and I really miss home. You started right by where my work was. I took this highway to the 101 everyday for 2 years. God i miss home

  • What about the mobile camera vans and SUV's that the Arizona State Patrol utilize? I passed by one going 81 MPH in a 75 zone. Does the same 10 MPH buffer apply??

I figured they were widening it to 8 lanes. Thanks for the heads up.

  • uhhh, the speed cameras have been disabled at june 2010 and are still disabled.

  • What is this awesome tune that I'm listening to!?

  • @santopeyote

A HOV lane is specially made for people traveling to places. Mostly, there's HOV lanes for 3 people or more or for 2 people or more. But, if you get caught in the HOV lane with just you, you will get a ticket. But it makes it easier for people traveling so they won't get caught in traffic.

  • The i10 coming from Los Angeles is being Made into more lanes for some reason. And the middle part where they usually have the dirt has been taken off to make more lanes. I kinda liked that part in the middle but they only made it to 3 lanes and the HOV lane which makes it 4. But it's only being made more lanes from all the way to Jackrabbit county. I think it's because a lot of people come from LA or something.

  • So when you were filming this video, am I correct in thinking that AZDOT(?) was in the process of expanding the HOV lanes west of Loop 101? I'm guessing they were, since the eastbound traffic was being routed over to the normal westbound part of I-10.

Just hoping you knew what Arizona's DOT was up to, when you filmed this vid.

  • Hey FreewayBrent, they've just about wrapped up const on the 10 fwy, it's gonna be eight lanes. You should shoot the Loop 101 and 202, something interesting always happens on those two freeways. Happy Holidays!
