To sing us the gospel that warns us of hell
From Michael McDonald to Tevin Campbell

A young Robert Kelly, an old Gladys Knight
Kenny Loggins attended, his skin snowy white
All hailing the birthing of "Jesus, Our Pal"
There was Eddie Lavert, Debbie Gibson, and...AL?!

Yes, no one knows why Weird Al chose to appear
On such a BLAND holiday special that year
Furthermore, why he chose to agree to be "saved"
When singers showed up at a Christmas tree's grave

Who decided it might be a decent idea
To make Weird Al sing gospel with mild diarrhea?
Why pander to all the religious who vex us?
Did Al undersell "Deep End" copies in Texas?

And what's with that over-the-top "white boy" crap?
We knew from "Can't Watch This" that Alfred could rap!
Funny how such a special, with tolerant words
Could be so unforgiving, portraying its nerds.

But let's leave that aside, for it's Christmas time now!

What you see is what I got. I'm a WEIRD AL trader. I got these clips from another Weird Al trader, and he had specifically edited together the segments with Al in them, knowing I wouldn't be interested in the rest. Sorry.
