Peter comes to his high school reunion for one reason only: to get a second chance with Kari, the girl he left behind 20 years ago. A shape-shifting narrator orchestrates their reunion, using her poetic (and oft comedic) insights to reveal universal themes of destiny and forgiveness in this bitter-sweet story. Will the universe give Peter another shot at love? More importantly, will Kari?
