All-Wheel Drive Lock Switch (AWD) (if so equipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped with an All-Wheel Drive Lock switch, located on the left side of the instrument panel. Push the lower part of the switch to toggle between AUTO and LOCK modes. The AWD LOCK light will illuminate when in LOCK mode. For normal driving your vehicle should be in AUTO operating mode. Use the LOCK mode for driving on rough roads. The LOCK mode will change to AUTO mode automatically when the vehicle is driven at a high speed. If in LOCK mode and you wish to change back to AUTO, push the switch again and note that the AWD LOCK light is OFF.
