Jungle Brothers / Crazy Wisdom Masters - Troopin On The Down Lo - 1993

Rare track from 1993 label promo disc recorded during the brilliant sessions for what was originally going to be the Jungle Brothers album "Crazy Wisdon Masters" produced with Bill Laswell, David Williams, et al. The album was ultimately scrapped and Warner Bros. ended up releasing the drastically overhauled and gutted "J Beez Wit Tha Remedy" which, though it had brilliant moments, was nowhere near as groundbreaking and adventurous as "Crazy Wisdom Masters" would have been if it had seen the light of day. This track features Sensational (then called Torture) and The Reinforcements. Unbelievably weird and creative hip hop, nearly 20 years old!
