this is how you connect your Xbox 360 to a CRT monitor.

sorry i made some mistakes in the video the red and white audio things that i said were male were FEMALE and the cable you use to connect power to your monitor was FEMALE as well.

for those of you that have a female VGA port behind your monitor can just plug the HD AV cable into it without using the female to female coupler.

like i said in the video those of you who no the names of the audio things that i had no clue of (noob) please state them in a comment for others to see

i use crt for my 360. lcd monitor too expensive at my place. the only thing that bother me is most of the games are streched. circle shape looks oval. but who cares, crt is my only choice to play HD

CRTs have much MUCH higher resolution than TVs, not to mention better refresh rates and contract/black levels.

40 bucks for a cable might as well throw in double that or so and get a cheap lcd monitor with hdmi connector or something. The view on that 17 incher is so tiny after it's formatted to widescreen.
