What you say about Stevie is true his songs are very complex for the average singer to try and sing but what you say about George's songs repeating simple chords and using a computer to make his voice sound good is utter bullshit. If you knew ANYTHING about music you'd know that George's own songs are also very complex and DIFFICULT for other singers to sing. Vocally he's considered one of the greats, he's right up there so just chill homie.
The song " pastime Paradise " is the greatest song in popular music history, a song which is timeless, out of time per say. It actually does not belong in popular music , and is equal to the greatest compositions of Mozart, Beethoven and Ellington. Mystical and obscure, it was of course never released as a single by Motown, who could not understand it. George turns it into a pop song, as did Coolio , whose version made it popular.
