KEEP ANNOTATIONS ON!!!!!!

For the time being, this tutorial is COMPLETELY OUTDATED. A fellow YouTuber named XPureMadnessX made a video which seems to be more accurate than this video. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out:

a short tut on making your own thumbnails (the image that shows up for your video) for YouTube videos, if u didnt already know. i'm using Sony Vegas 7 for the tut.

for some reason, sometimes YouTube will delay a vid for maybe a second but it can screw up wat ur thumbnail will be. if it does happen, u can try making ur thumbnail a little bit bigger when ur editing.

  • Your annotation blocked ur half vids screen

  • @amanccx That's the point. I'm trying to direct the traffic from my video to his video.

  • ~How to choose your own Thumbnail 2011~

I've made a video just for you guys, in a easy & organized way.

    Video tutorial: watch?v=Z0X2FyRl-9s

    General steps are:

    (1) Add timecode (timer) to buttom layer and add thumbnail at exact millisecond.

    (2) Add thumbnail near the end (percent locations).

Examples & Proof: My 6 latest vids.

Everything, and more, is explained in the video (Video tutorial: watch?v=Z0X2FyRl-9s).

Thumb this comment up, as it pretty much answers 90% of the questions here.

  • @XPureMadnessX Hey sorry I almost never gave a response. I made a very obvious annotation in the video which should direct some of the traffic I'm getting on this video to yours.
