There is a lack of material by the amazing Gordian Knot available on this website, so I decided to rectify the situation. This is a progressive group birthed from the vision of Sean Malone, widely acclaimed as the bass player who can be heard on the famous album Focus by the death metal group Cynic. The song provided is from Gordian Knot's debut, self-titled album.

Note: I will be uploading more Gordian Knot material, but on another account. This account belongs to a friend of mine, and he will be wanting to use it for his own ends sooner or later. I only used it due to my lack of activity on the internet. I will post my new username in a comment here when I have registered it.

  • Nice! it makes me think about liquid tension experiment... with something added!!

  • mmm very nice... i personally wish the drummer was somewhat more creative and less focussed on a straight rhythm. more into the direction of symphony x, dream theater or andromeda...

  • 1:35

  • epicness

  • @Vhaltz i'm confused by your comment???...i do love the guitars here...was making a general comment about music and musicianship and the maturity it takes to step back and do whats right for the song and compliment each other and how all the musicians should shine...and do here...

  • @nycbassist76

Ron, as one of the best technical guitarists of our time, shouldn't be allowed to shine in a single track out of the whole album. How dare he!?

    AmIrite?

Just skip the track if you can't appreciate all of the musicians in the band.
