Indonesia: Great Shopping in Ubud, Bali

Not only is there fantastic shopping in Ubud but think t-shirts of $1-2 U.S., that makes it about 50 cents-one dollar for tourists using the pound! A person could come home with duffels loaded with souvenirs and clothes. Incredibly cheap.

Tourists are allowed into only a few Balinese Temples and if you do visit, both men and women MUST wear a sarong and temple scarf. Those are the rules and we followed, even though most Westerners look ludicrous in a sarong, us being no exception with fat billowing over.
