NFS Shift PS3 with G25 Wheel

I couldn't wait for GT5 any longer, it got delayed again. So I picked up NFS Shift as a substitute and started using my racing setup once again. I had not played any racing games for months, mostly due to how boring it is to race the same old 5 tracks on GT5 Prologue. I had hopes that GT5 would come out this year, but rumor has it that it has been pushed back till March 2010. I'm disappointed in the news, but not surprised because as an avid GT fan, I've been through this before with GT4 release. I digress.
Back to NFS Shift talk now. This game is a lot of fun. I especially like the cockpit view and seeing all the panels and gauges on the cars. One thing that NFS Shift is doing correctly is how the cockpit shifts and moves around as weight is shifted and transferred in the car. Ever car in the game sounds amazing too. The Project Gotham points system is a plus. You get points for how you drive, and are rated accordingly.
Two ways to score: 1. Precision racing or 2. Aggressive racing. Both yield points for how you drive and you earn trophies and badges for. This gives you some goal to accomplish besides just racing and finishing first, and this is key to what makes NFS Shift fun.

Don't make me want to buy another game BreakerOhio! ... but, my g25 is gathering dust right now i suppose... I got dirt 2 a few weeks ago, it is very fun using standard controller (i have just assumed it would be as pants with the wheel as dirt1 was, so i havent bothered trying yet). U Tried dirt2 with g25?

I've only played the demo of dirt2. It's pretty fun, i played dirt2 with the standard controller too.

oh, so in socom, if the dead zone is big, it wont take much effort to get the guy to stand still. but if theres a small dead zone, the joy stick would be really sensitive and it would be a little more difficult to stay still.
