Bella was raised on the raw meaty bones diet. Since she had puppies we have learned alot more about the best way to feed and the puppies will be raised on raw meaty bones.
here is an easy to understand reference:

  • who are you keeping? i know it is going to be hard to let any of them go...seems VERY natural to me. If they were in the wild this is EXACTLY what mom would bring them, and they are not sitting in milk...what eles will you be giving them? any milk type product at all? Or is the only liquid water? Just wondering. very facination...

  • @pecharka5 We are keeping Celia and Raphael - of course we are already lamenting over having to let them go...even thought they are getting to be so much work!

    Who are you keeping?

  • where do you go out and get a beef heart? and what does it cost?

  • @pecharka5 We have an farm not far from us that has a small store and sells heart, liver, tongue they are 2.00 per pound. Shop Rite and Path mark as well as some other chains sell slices of beef heart. I haven't asked them yet, but I plan on asking them if they slice it themselves, if they can leave it whole or halved fro me. There is is 1.00 per pound. As pups they eat alot, when they are adults they slow down to roughly 1.5 pounds of meat incl bone per day. So it doesn't cost more than kibble

  • Puppy food is not the natural diet for puppies. It is natural for dogs to make a kill and then regurgitate for their pups when they are young. At this age (5 weeks) they can eat soft (like chicken) raw bones. Dogs are carnivores. They do not have the enzymes to digest grain or vegetables. Follow link in box for more inof.
