charity: water founder Scott Harrison tours the Mogotia health clinic in Kenya. The hospital had muddy water running through its taps, and charity: water launched a september campaign in hopes to raise enough money to build a well there. The clinic served more than 100 patients a day, and an area population of 30,000. this was the only drinking water they had. charity: water helps dig wells in Africa.

And Ethan, how are we meant to teach them how to fish if they're all sick and dying by age 30? Water is the most important factor in determining life expectancy and health, so maybe after everyone has access to clean water then the fishing lessons can begin.

Do some research before you make that assumption. Firewood is hard to get in Africa, one because it is illegal to chop in most places and 2 because most people dont have the money to buy the firewood.

Have you also noticed the line that they serve 30,000 people? Why don't you go over and tell them how to work, since you seem to know it all yourself. See how quickly you boil water for 30,000 people.

I agree in part with you. No, we don't have to give them the latest technology. They don't have access to materials needed to fix the pumps. I'm not quite sure about what you are getting at with the nuke comment, however.

We Don't Have to give them the top of the line just something that could be twenty years old. That old Idea "If you give a cave man a nuke, he'll bomb the first animal he sees. That is why you don't give them the latest tech. The other reasons are to let them evolve the tech. themselves.

Send A Burkfeild 3 Gallon Water Filter. the burkfeild cuts out all toxins down to 3 or 4 Angstroms in size. The other problem i have here is the doctors are Poisoning the Patience in the hospital DELIBRAITLY. They know to Boial the water first before they serve it to the people. Why TO MILK ALL THE FOREIGHN MONEY FROM YOU!
