Children in villages are learning about rainwater harvesting in their text books. As they see construction of domestic rainwater harvesting tanks in their village many lessons about water can be taught practically. In this village Arjuna bettahalli in Nelamangala Taluk,Bangalore rural district Karnataka rainwater tanks re being built. This will provide supplemental water for domestic requirment at the doorstep of families. The rainwater club is assisting the process of construction of 40 tanks funded by Shreyas and built by Ramakrishnappa and Nagaraju, two villagers from Kuruburakunte .
Villagers fro Arjuna betahalli went to Kuruburakunte saw the rainwater structures and there use and decided they too wanted it. Ramakrishnappa and Nagaraju now stay at A.B Halli and help the villagers build these tanks.
