I too love the combination of a mommy who is spinning and in plain dress, with a ballerina in pink cowboy boots. Reminds me of my own daughter and myself. Nice vid.

Nice opener Italoguy, you will always catch a girl's attention with a compliment, Thank You. Although I'm afraid you blew it in the follow through. Perhaps you could ask the Dissident Frogman for some pointers?

So calming! I have been wanting to try mohair! Is it hard to spin? I have an ashford traditional. Thanks for the idea to spin outside! I will try that here in VT after the snow melts! Thanks, grace

Grace- I learned to spin outside in Sunapee New Hampshire - that calming experience from that one day stayed with me for over a decade in my mind as one of the most relaxing zen times of my life and was my motivation to finally get a wheel of my own. I don't think mohair is hard to spin. It's a lot more slippery than wool but it does not take long to get the hang of it.

Wow - a lady spinning, a sweet little girl in ballet leotard and cowgirl boots (my kind of girl!), and a baby gooing off camera - how heavenly, thank you!
Mind saying where you live? Don't have to be specific - just admiring your pastoral background. ^_^
Thank you, Sarah.

We are in Indiana near the tri-state with OH and KY- it's very beautiful countryside here, lots of hills and woods above the OH river floodplains.
