  • 400 2.8 is $7,300... How much do you make with sports photography that you could afford all this stuff? Im a fashion photographer but im just curious.

  • @Miscellaneousviidz I shoot a lot of weddings and senior/family portraits too so sports is about 20% of my business with weddings around 30% and seniors/family at 50%

  • thanks for sharing this video, and the comments on how you diversify your income. It is always interesting to learn from a Pro.

  • thanks. what is the name of the white balance thingy?

  • ballllllll

  • You could have saved $500.00 by foregoing the IS version of the f2.8 70-200 (at least for the sports photography). Fast shutter speed is negating the stop down ability of that lens.

  • Hey Jason, what kind of back up bodies are you running? I'm looking at picking up a 7D and using my 60D as a backup, I would go 1 series but the funds just simply aren't there for me.

  • @supersabre69 Yeah you could, but that defeats the purpose of buying a lens for adaptable use. You can't sneak away with too many keepers from a high school football game with 4.5/5.6 because you won't be able to keep your shutter speed high enough.

  • @supersabre69 You can always stop down while still using the beautiful glass :)

  • can I have some of your gear? ya know help a fellow photographer out haha.

  • why the 2.8, when using outside?? will you not get good images with 4.5/5.6 being outside with good light?
