De La Hoya was paid $52 million to fight mayweather. Lesnar was paid only $400,000 for ufc 100.. GSP was also paid $400,000. Tyson received $30million after losing his fight to holyfield. Mir was paid $45,000 after losing to lesnar. That's 666.7x more for tyson. UFC sells more, but pays less. Hmmm.. somebody is pocketing all the $

however, mma is mixed martial arts - he is currently training in boxing, sambo and kickboxing: so, he has the potential to switch into mma-fighting, yes.
i will look around and see if he actually intends to move into mma
