@ElvisPresleyLand Wow that's cool that we like the same song; I just listened to this song today on my IPod about 25 times on the city bus today, lol. I bought it with my ITunes gift card I got for Christmas form my dad, and also the Moody Blue album, and a few other songs like "Sylvia." But anyway I was saying that Doug really acts like Elvis in this song, but doesn’t go over the top, and when he was talking he referenced some sayings, but also made it his own when talking to the audience.

@ElvisPresleyLand I agree with you, Doug chose a lesser known song that only a true Elvis fan would have heard of before. And I also love how Doug was humble when that lady said he looked like Elvis. But I still don't think you have to be drunk to recognize Doug's efforts to give us a taste of what it might of been like seeing Elvis live, without forcing it upon us. And I agree that Doug just the song and his voice is like Elvis he doesn't fake it, and sings and talks like Elvis might.

I have known Elvis Presley since early 1950s and there is none like him. I actually appreciate effort of Doug Church with his rendition of HONKY TONK ANGEL. It seems he is simply singing the song rather than trying to be Elvis. I can watch and listen to a genuine ETA who does in fact perform tribute to Elvis because he has great admiration for him. That can be determined from choice of songs sung, those that have not been given much "play."
