How To Draw Tom Cruise From Top Gun Movie And Dance Film MTV 2010

This is a sped up part 1 video of me drawing Tom Cruise. For some of you, this video may help you learn how to draw Tom Cruise from the Top Gun movie and dance film. Also, you might be able to draw a version of him from the Oscar commercial. If it's too complicated, don't worry, I'll be making a step by step tutorial later.

First, draw the outline of the body and head. Make sure you draw the outline of the hair as well. Then, draw the outline of the eyes, nose and mouth. Once you're done with the outlines, start adding in tone as shown. Draw the darkest area of tone first, which is the top left flap of the shirt. Then, draw in the next darkest area of tone, which is the right area of the shirt. The hair is also dark. Once you draw in the darkest areas of the drawing, the rest is a piece of cake.

That's Tom Cruise alright, you just stretched him out. You suffer from high school syndrom where proportions get the best of you. The distance from the eyes to the chin should be the same as from the eyes to the top of the hair measuring with your thumb and fore finger.
