I made many trips to the north Country fair in Vermont .

traveled all across New Hampshire Vermont Maine and up state NY

very beautiful area like southern Quebec

the Eastern Townships.

In the fall it is the area to be in .

autumn leaves fall in an array of red, brown and yellow;

trees reach towards a cloudy heaven,

cold my heart, for it looks towards another time, another place.

That leaves me to haunt this snowy page, a phantom lost to chilly spaces, vast places that tear at my heart, for I can only leave traces in this autumn walk. I linger between snowy white and night;

walking this cold path looking for treasure, illusive, yet so close;
