    hi ann,u r great in whatever u do....i bought chocolate having cocoa butter for chocolate decorations, so do i need to temper the chocolate ?it is not easy to get chocolate having vegetable oil.......thanks a lot and u r a great teacher ,plz show some more chocolate decorations

    Hi sweetu tan, Yes if it contains cocoa butter then it must be in temper or will be soft at room temperature. If the chocolate that you bought is shiny and hard at room temp then it is in temper, follow the instructions in the video above to keep it that way.

    i have a bar of chocolate that uses vegetable fat and i really want to try one of your garnishes but the problem is that i dont have a microwave so what would should i do??

    Hi swiftyalways if it uses vegetable fat then it does not need tempering you can just melt it. Put a saucepan on the stove top with a 1/2 cup of water in it. Put a clean dry bowl over the top (it should be big enough to sit on the circle of the top of the pan so it sits above the water not touching it and traps in the steam.) Break the chocolate into pieces, put int he bowl and stir constantly until melted.
