Ultralights - Back to the Grass Roots of Flying

I got to combine my love for flying and film making with this documentary about Ultralights that I directed while attending the Vancouver Film School back in 1990. It was shot on their Video 8 equipment, and looks like it too! :) But it did get me my first video job making a promo video for the Beaver Ultralight, which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdygkWUrwOk

What do they run about 20 or 30k?

@TamakoAkai They were between $10,000 to $15,000 twenty years ago. I don' t know what the average cost of an ultralight is now.

@wheeler295 The black one? It is a single seat RX-35 Beaver.

Check with Airflow Ultralights in Surrey, BC, Canada. They can tell you who all the different manufactures are right now.

Stupid question, but I love cameras by any chance do you know what kind of camera this is?

We were using the Vancouver Film School's cameras at the time and this video was shot with a Sony Video8 camcorder. I don't know the actual model though.
