Young hawk was exploring the grounds around the Botanical Gardens, Golden Gate Park. It is one of 3 young that from a nest in a high tree just by the gardens.
@HyuugaCharlie I think, no, there must have been baby red shouldered hawk. I and also my parents, haven't heard any such sound ever before (and we all know how seagull sounds like), definetely it was hawk. It could be somehow imported or smuugled, and then escaped... It's my only explanation...
Please someone answer me: how come I heard this bird (unmistakenly: kee-aah, kee-aah) right on a tree in my backyard, and I live on the coast of Croatia, in Europe. As I read on specialized sites, they do not migrate over the ocean. It gets me

@ThePaintermanful seagulls also make this noise, they are in most coastal areas
