Hand made from off-cuts of African hardwood & softwood and recycled plastic, with beaters made from recycled knitting needles, bicycle wheel spokes and wine bottle corks. Constructed by Geoffrey Jackson Furniture, Langley, in conjunction with Michael Freeman (michaelmusic/Sustainable Sounds,) and supported by Queen's Hall Outreach, Hexham. Launched at Kate Jackson's MAKE shop, Allendale Mill, as part ot The Northumberland Art Tour 2010, and available for public playing.
