Thank you for posting this great song. Being from Monroe, LA, my dad knew Billy and we had a copy of "stealing hubcaps" on a 45 record. We must have played this song a thousand times. It was great to hear the song again after 30 plus years.

thanks for posting, great funny rockin record, i've had this for a long time, one of my favs, the sound of the hubcaps hitting the asphalt is EXACTLY what it sounded like in the 50s. i know because i've taken them off at the drag strip many times. this grc label isn't to be confused with the sleigh bell rock/booze party grc label, totally different label.
