ProCo Rat2 vs Boss OD3 vs T-Rex Mudhoney

In search for the Scofield-tone :-) jamming on Autumn Leaves playing an Epiphone Dot with Gibson '57 Classic pickups, new tuners and new volume and tone pots. The amp is a Roland Blues Cube 60, a very good transistor amp. I use the bridge pickup.

The overdrives are used as boosters with the gain set low just to add a little bite.

@87marshal Almost zero. Just a little bite. Too much you loose tone. Volume almost maks. Filter all the way up (almost).

I am thinking to buy a Roland Cub... what do you think of it? have you ever played it in live situation?

@VelhosNovos In this video I use a Roland Blues Cube which Roland stopped making in the 90's. It's one of the best transistor amps around. I have used it many times in a live situation and it's ok. Not as good as my Fender all tube amps...

@VelhosNovos Dude, don't buy a roland cube, their actual amps are all solid-state and it sucks. Buy a all tube amp or an hybrid if you want but never a solid-state amp.
