Trekking in Thailand

We took a private trek with a couple of Thai friends who just happen to be experienced trekking guides in Chiang Mai. After a two hour drive up and a 4 hour trek across the Maetang river into the thick of the Thai jungle (uphill), we arrived here in what I like to call "Paradise". Here in the village of Koob-kub, a beautiful family of the Lahu tribe opened up their home to us and gave us hours upon hours of laughter and enlightenment..
