Thank you so much for this! I love it so much! I think Charlie Chaplin saves the whole world, with his heart, his love, his message. He even took on Hitler. He is everything good and beautiful! I wish I'd have been Edna Purviance!!!!!! He is a voice for poor people! God sent this broken world, a REAL ANGEL when he sent us Charlie!

Is this just them doing a scene or did he do the whole movie? If so, where can I watch it? Lol I love Charlie Chaplin!

I couldn't agree more with all you guys. Charlie is too too cute, and a comic genious. I love all his work but this and The Kid are two of my all time favourites! Thanks for uploading :-)

@SuperDictionar Can I hug you? :) You are my twin soul :)
He is just perfect!!
...the first time I saw that last kiss in a video montage, I about came right outa my chair and wanted to kiss Charlie myself! It made me just melt; I couldn't believe it; I'd NEVER seen Charlie lay on a long, serious kiss that like that before - to me this even surpasses the (original) ending of "The Gold Rush"! So "Burlesque on Carmen" became perhaps my favorite short film of his. :-) Nice film quality; can't wait to buy my own copy - thank you for sharing!

@TakersMissy - Hey, thank you for the comment! Yeah, if you're looking for a good version of "Burlesque on Carmen" buy "Charlie Chaplin Short Comedy Classics" off Amazon.com....the cheapest one on their right now (for the set of about 30 short films), is like $40. But, keep checking back; and someone will probably post one for cheaper.
That version is the closest to Chaplin's original intent. He actually sued Essannay Film, to get them to stop releasing crappy unapproved versions.
