  • Interesting version, but I prefer hearing this sung in Spanish.

  • You may be interested to know that the label on this copy indicates it is a later pressing [ca. 1949/50] of a disc first issued in September 1942.

It survived the big deletions of 1951/2 and remained in the catalogue a little longer.

By 1955, there were only a handful of Tauber 78s still available.

  • @VinylToVideo Check out Diamondcut software for eq. conversions.

  • I heard that song on ferry boat between kopenhagen and Landskroma Sweede back in 1955

  • I have heard many interpretations of this classic song.

Tauber is a Bravo Tenore, but I don't like his execution .

    Excuse me

  • Excellent; it's free and I was hoping I wasn't going to have to buy another license! Just downloaded it. Thanks very much!

  • YouTube won't let me post URLs here, go to the same web page where you download ClickRepair, and look for a program called Equalize.

  • Before I found ClickRepair I never bothered with the restoration!

Thanks for the info; it was actually you I wanted to direct that comment to but I guess I didn't know what I was doing! I did use Audacity and wasn't sure how to remove it the RIAA but didn't know ClickRepair had the curve changing ability!

  • That depends on what software you're using to change it. I think with Audacity, you do have to remove RIAA first. There are others (including a freebie from the same author as ClickRepair) that give you the option to do this.

  • Isn't ClickRepair awesome? :D
