  • wat kind of siren is that?

  • That is an older Federal Q Siren. Dates back into the 60's. It was taken off of an older unit and placed on this Engine.

  • doesn't even sound like a Q, but i'll take ur word. where is it mounted?

  • It is a very old Q. It is mounted up underneath on the frame behind the grill.

  • is that a Grumman or an HME?

  • B E A U T I F U L paint scheme... never seen foreset green paint scheme

  • awesome video

  • Yep, it's a Sterling, a Model 30. Compare with the video "Sterling Model 30 Free Rolling Siren." This one peaks a little higher due to the much better electrical system that this truck has compared to the demo in the other video. Otherwise the sound quality is IDENTICAL.

  • The siren on that rig actually sounds like a Sterling. It's about the size of a Q but doesn't go up as high.

  • Nice Video.

  • Reminds me of my Q1B by Federal.

I like it. Keep it classic
