  • I don't think she's cold or uninterested, I think she's just shy. Not everyone can be so talkative all the time. It's weird how people expect actors to not only be entertainers on screen but also to cater to the public and the press.

  • She should have won. Her role was pure commitment.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 i don't get why this would bother you so much... have you got nothing better to do in life than to bitch and complain about how someone you don't even know isn't acting a certain way in THEIR interview? you sound pathetic. grow up and get a fucking grip jesus lol.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 Her job is to act as best as she can in the movies she's playing at. Promoting a film isn't her job, there are other people for that job. Get that through your head.

  • @ohadohad12 It seems you don't know what things are asked for when it comes to actors promoting a film, so it would be better for you to stop sharing your opinion until you grasp that idea. Once again, I'm not saying that she needs to talk like Obama. All I'm are saying is that she isn't good at public interviews and that she probably should get some coaching. Get that through your head.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 How can i be a fanboy if i haven't seen her in any film i don't think she needs to say what you want/think she should say that's all.

  • @ohadohad12 wow fanboy much don't you. Call like it is please because that would be refreshing for one.

  • @fightthegrip Streep was nominated for the performance. What's she's going to with all those GG trophies? I dunno. Display them proudly I guess.

  • @TickleMeElmo55 lol... whatever man. if you say she's cold but in the interview she's smiling non stop then you're the hopeless

  • @veronika383 So yes, "media savvy" is very much imbedded into their contracts. They don't have to do all the interviews on the red carpet, but in Rooney's situation - the studio practically requires actors to do it.

  • @veronika383 Actors get paid to be on talk shows due to SAG union laws, promotional work for their movie is in their signed contract (some contracts require them to travel to three to seven cities depending how big it is for the Oscar race), actors get paid to wear designers dresses. Individual appearances at events not related to promotional work for their movie is a base pay depending on the organization that is having them their.

  • @ohadohad12 damn you're hopeless.
