@essenesearcher - GJJ has many levels -- sometimes it's a Zen-like thing where it's a game of mental strategy, balance points and ruse. Maybe it's not for you -- and that's fine. When great fighters like Telles and Cobrinha roll for fun, it's more getting into the zone. It's the beauty of Jiu-Jitsu. When I used to do Judo Newaza/Pancration, there were so many cross faces and explosive neck cranks involved that it made exploration of flow difficult. This is a different randori paradigm.
