  • Hi...love your videos. I have no musical knowledge so please can explain in idiot terms what you're playing with the RH. Thank you!

  • I'm playing the 'Popular Riff in C' from one of my other lessons.

You can improvise in C by playing any note from the C Blues Scale. C Eb F Gb G natural & Bb. Other notes, like D,E, and A sometimes fit into riffs & runs too. & you can play the notes as octaves too. i.e. Both C's, both Eb's, etc. The more you play & experiment, the better you'll get, just get your bass lines down & steady.

  • In case it isn't obvious to anyone, you can readily also play this bass line in a 'shuffle' feel.

  • Thanks for telling me the notes for the left hand but could you supply the notes for the right hand run as well. I really enjoy our videos but often you throw things in at the end that sound so great but those goodies come without an explanation of notes which is frustrating to the novice like myself.

    Thanks again.
