TB/ML Slash: Friends In Low Places

Slash WARNING: This video contains slash...if that offends you then please don't watch. My newest TB/ML vid and I took it in a new direction. Those who follow my videos know how much I love seeing what silly stories I can tell using the perfect song/scene combinations! In this one Bill and Josef were an item till Bill catches Josef with Mick. Over the course of their relationship Josef has told Bill he belongs with his own "society types" and breaks it off. When Bill catches Josef with Mick, Josef then breaks it off so he can be with Mick. Mick is more sophisticated... more who he "belongs" with.

Once the lyrics begin we switch to present time. The lyrics tell the story from Bill's POV. Bill isn't one to sulk or mope...he accepts the break up, though he is angry that Josef betrayed him, and returns to his "friends in low places" (Eric and Pam). They are happy to see him!

Meanwhile Josef regrets letting Bill go and decides he wants him back. To Josef's surprise Bill tells him: "I guess I was wrong...I just don't belong (in Josef's world)...but then I've been there before." He assures Josef that everything is alright and he shows himself to the door leaving Josef alone in his house. When Josef realizes that Bill is not pining for him it makes him that much more eager to have him back. That night Josef waits for Bill outside his house and again he tells Bill he wants him back...neither man notices Mick is hiding watching them. (Assume that off camera Bill tells Josef he has moved on and refuses him.) Bill goes to more of his "friends" (Malcolm, Liam and Diane! LOL) He's in a bad mood and it's clear from his actions that he's not big on "social graces" LOL But even when he behaves rudely these are just the friends to cheer him up! They know what is bothering Bill...that he's angry with Josef. Malcolm comes up with a plan to go out so they head to a bar where they often hangout. Meanwhile a dejected Josef has started hanging out, bringing Mick along, at The Oasis a place he knows that Bill goes. (He's secretly hoping to make Bill jealous and win him back by making Bill see him with Mick). Lo and behold Bill and friends show up and Josef is shocked to see Bill with "new friends" while Mick is thinking this looks like trouble. Bill sees Mick & Josef there but Malcolm has assured him he'll be ok because he has them now. Josef is hurt when he hears this. But Malcolm is angry at Josef for betraying Bill, he points to Josef and asks Bill if this snobby vampire is really worth it? He asks if he wants Bill to take him out back and teach him a lesson. Mick, clueless that Josef has been using him to make Bill jealous, bravely steps forward to protect Josef from Malcolm. Malcolm is not one bit intimidated. Diane goes and cuddles up to Mick. Josef is irritated but tries to hide it. He thinks surely this is just a joke...this is just a set up...Bill wouldn't possibly choose these other vamps over him. Josef tells Mick that this is enough....to tell these others to take a hike. That he belongs with him and won't be happy with anyone else. But Bill tells him: I'll be ok. Josef is now worrying...he tells Mick: "You love me man...don't do this." But Bill steps forward and tells Josef he has friends in low places....this is who he belongs with. I guess Bill has gotten even...
