Great video and choice of music. The only modern day performer I can think of who can match Keaton for fearlessness, inventiveness and physicality is Jackie Chan--his Chinese movies I mean, not the Hollywood ones.
The other one I thought would make a great choice would be Marty Feldman. He played eyegore in young frankenstien. Also proved to be a very limber person in mel brooks Silent Movie. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you should.
Oh he was great but Buster Keaton was a phenomenal athelete and often risked his life for a scene. That's why Jackie Chan is the only one I can think of who is the same as far as athleticism goes and as far as someone who knows how to battle the elements in a brilliant manner and risk his life in the process.
Agreed. Jackie chan was probably the only other person as fearless as good ol' buster. I bet if those two would have a mouthful of stories about scars and broken bones.
Yes I too remember the first time I discovered buster as well. Which wasn't all that long ago. He will surprise you in every film he has made. Thanks for watching.
