I made this mistake with the last girl I dated. She wanted to end our little relationship/fling. I was persistent and kept trying to convince her we could make it work. She got annoyed with that, and now things are awkward between us. I could have salvaged a friendship out of it had I just allowed it to happen.

i wanted to put down somthing that has worked for me in the past, when ive tried to ask somone out, and they say no, i would give them "the eye" and hand them my number on a small peice of paper, or a napkin saying "maybe another time then."...now one of 3 things will happen. A. they say "um...no thanks" and i take it back B. they take the paper, usualy saying nothing at all, or C. they take the paper, second guessing themselves, and call me to set up a date now that they are curious.

dating advice, as a header then a description of subject. just a quick thought after many beers and night out!

You should explain what you mean when you say "sometimes it's a good idea," because this contradicts the video. I think that desperately trying to change a woman's mind will fail, but confidently behaving as though she'll come around eventually can work, especially if you make it clear you'll be okay with it either way.

i like what you said.. the girl i like hates it when i call her alot and pay attention to her.,.. on the other hand, if i dont call her for a few days the girl starts calling my phone off the hook... why do you think that is?

Moving on? You're assuming that there are people out there that will find you interesting and/or attractive. What if there is none?
Man that was a great video!

I see where you're coming from, but what if the guy is telling you that he wants to date you but he has something personal to deal with. Is he just letting you down easily or is he actually going through something personal in his life?

Great point. Indeed, in most cases if a man is sexually driven as a healthy man is, he will be interested no matter what is going on in his life and usually this is just a nice way to say that he is not really interested. It is possible, although rare, that a guy would be undergoing some traumatic event which will put his mind elsewhere and away from dating.

i have pursued a girl for 5 months and she still hasnt gone out with me but we are friends

Exactly.... pursuing doesn't really do anything to building a woman's interest, but if you are truly friends with her, then it doesn't matter. Often, having a great friend is better than going out with someone a couple of times.
