So my friend tried to stick a mini tripod in his RSX plastic strap (comes with his sun visor, you know the strap for you to put letter or something?)

So i tried to do the same thing, but with... RUBBER BANDS! lol, and damn, it works wonderful, not to mention it got a great viewing angle too!

I haven't drive my integra that much this summer as i was finishing my JDM conversion (yea i know, took me long time... long story). So i took my teg out for a spin.

In this video:
- footage of how stable of the "camera mount"
- a pull with the Neon at 3:25
- reached ~115km/h at 3:43
- heel to toe to 3rd 6500rpm in 3:47
- that turn was rated 35km/h lol
- i realized need a 1.5 way LSD for additional handling :(
- Neon sucks lol, pulled away 7 cars after that sharp J-turn offramp

Setup of my teg can be found here:

  • what year is your integra?

  • 94-01

  • dope mount but im kidna confused on the set up. where u using a video camera or a cell phone camera? better yet where u using a digital cam? using rubber bands wud be hard as hell to get a heavy ass regular video cam to stay in place

  • it was just a regular camera Canon IS300, and i used the video mode. Just used a mini tripod and used rubber bands to strap the tripod legs onto the sunvisor. :)

  • HA! This works! I made a video by hanging the camera and tripod from the visor with rubber bands. I flipped it up to get the shifter too. I had to rotate the video 180 degrees with a video editor.

  • very nice steady video

  • looks like fun im probably gonna be gettin a type s soon!

  • haha..i dont think you pulled away..i think the neon gave up...but neon FTL anyways...(i do the camera mount with my phone in the visor strap too! haha)
