Glastonbury has always been traditionally known as a rock concert venue. All the rap fans complaining does not make any sense. You have to have different venues for different styles of music. When the Glastonbury festival first started, rap was nowhere near as commercialized as today. Owned by Jay...What a load of shite.

@marcelo06 That isn't what he said at all. In fact he pointed out later in another interview that he likes Jay-Z. What he actually said was that hip-hop artists do not sell tickets at what has traditionally always been a rock festival and that is why ticket sales were down.

it was great when he got owned by jay... i used to like oasis growing up but him saying hiphop isnt good enough to be at glasto put me off.
