My son showed this to me.....Can you figure out how this is possible??? The song by the way is by the legendary Queen and it's title is "It's a Kind of Magic."

Static Equilibrium. The moment created by the mass of the handle which acts on the pivot point (on the glass rim) reacts the moment of the centre of mass which acts on the same pivot point. Sum your moments and you = 0..any of the match/stick inside of the glass has no effect on these forces because it's mass is negligible. The load is bared from the pivot to the spork only
