Michigan State University is one of the top 150 research universities in the world and has been listed in various national publications as one of the top 25 universities in the United States for numerous programs, including accounting, hospitality business, international relations, packaging, education, advertising, journalism, economics, communication, and criminal justice.

MSU is home to more than 5,000 international students, and was the first major university in the United States with a dean of international programs. For the third consecutive year, MSU was ranked the top public study abroad program in the United States, with more than 200 programs in 60 countries and on all seven continents.

Most students participate in one of the more than 630 student clubs, organizations, and groups on campus. MSU has excellent recreational, fitness, and sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, several weight rooms, basketball, handball, tennis, and racquetball courts, and track and field facilities.

Michigan States 5,200 acre campus is located in East Lansing, Michigan, a safe and secure suburb of Lansing the capital city of Michigan. East Lansing has been voted as one of the friendliest towns in America. The park-like setting of the MSU campus is ideal for pursuing academic excellence in one of MSUs 200 undergraduate majors.




In 2008, MSU Dubai opened in the United Arab Emirates, providing students in the region the opportunity to earn an MSU degree in one of six undergraduate majors.

The RELO of the US Embassy in Chile gave me a scholarship on July (along with 8 TESOL teachers/professors). We went to MSU for two weeks and we loved it. It was an enjoyable, rewarding, unforgettable, and wonderful experience. Thanks MSU for having inspiring and qualified professors like Amy!

@pochankitty WSU does not participate with USNEWS ranking system.... google it. SO many schools don't participate but yet they get ranked anyway according to surveys not REAL academics.

My daddy went to Michigan state and I visited the campus many times. I like the enviornment, I am not a party girl so I would spend most of my time in the appartment. Anyway, its a great school, good safe campus.

@Raja221 Last time I checked WSU was tier 2 according to US News. MSU is a pretty great public school.
