felt like jammin on this beautiful track off of the masterpiece album Hi-Teknology (which i'm listening on a regular basis since its release, back in 2001)

I just looped 2 bars without bass, started by playing the original (dope) bassline and then I played whatever came to my head...

50/105 flatwounds(from 2003!) and C#/F#/B/E tuning

  • Hi-Tek always has hot bass lines, this one in particular 'cause its like a boomerang, it comes back around 2 u! Love 2 see u on a 4 string cause a lot of cats where im from play 5 strings and sound like garbage! They have 'em mainly 4 show. Have u jammed on any of Pete Rock's tracks? If so, PLEASE post a vid!

  • @beskepcret77 Like you said, this line (and any good line) has a cycle in it (actually, that's why I played it,to show that with 5 notes at the right place, you can do a lot ;) haven't been jammin to Pete Rock's loops but that could be an idea ;) Peace out.
