Picking 180+ yielding Nebraska corn the old fashion way. 2009 harvest at Linder Stock Farms Loomis NE picking bee. 8 pickers and 3 shellers total showed up for the fun. Jeff Ludeke from Atlanta Nebraska picker in the video.

  • What row width was the corn planted in?

  • This was 36 inch rows.

  • They looked a bit narrow then i remember when we pick in 38" rows. Growing up we had a 227 on a 1949 A, parked it and found a 101 to use instead, lot easier on then narrower rows. Slower but less crop loss.

  • It's nice to see a 227 still picking corn. I have a 720 and 227 with both elevator and sheller that we still use on or farm. Go check out 2009 corn harvest to see it working.
