  • Vibrams part - your leg is straight and locked when landing, which is incorrect. Try keeping it a little bent it will absorb the shock easier. Going a bit back on the threadmill might help with this.

  • @aeonrun , thanks

  • relax your arms... they look tight. Try keeping them closer to a 90 degree angle. And dont cross them over your body. Focus on driving them back. Straight back. The faster you go, the more you need to focus on driving those arms back. When I competively ran, the only way to keep the speed at the kick (the last stretch that you put every ounce of speed into) was by focusing on those arms. Also you're feet are turning outwards. Keep them in a straight line to prevent alot of injury

  • @Arfme , thanks

  • isnt this how everyone runs?

  • I'm no expert, but I've recently been reading and watching vids on ChiRunning. So it's still new to me. After watching this video... /watch?v=rkUqkdPQHis I noticed your hips are doing the opposite of what Danny Dreyer says they should be doing. Your's are pulling forwards when your legs go back. He says your hip should go back with the legs. I haven't tried any ChiRunning yet so I don't know what it's like. I have yet to watch the ChiRunning DVD.

  • better than most! Now put a hat on and wear a light back pack with a heavy book. Don't let the bill of the hat go up and down and do whatever it take to keep the book from bouncing around. You are almost there!
