Eddie Bennett has established himself as a professional entertainer with over 12 years of working continuously in the theatre industry. His first professional credit landed him in the lap of well known, L.A. based choreographers, Helene Phillips and Barry Lather. He moved on to national tours and regional theatre credits soon after. His portrayal of Paul in the Jefferson Performing Arts Society production of A Chorus Line left few dry eyes in the audience and earned him critics praise quoting him as a new talent we will see more of in the future. During that time Eddie continued to exceed by joining the Broadway show CHICAGO: The Musical. He has toured and still continues to work with the Broadway company. This past year, marked Eddies ninth year with CHICAGO. The year 2008 also debut Eddie as a choreographer. This past year he has completed choreographing two full production shows. Deborah Gibsons: Pop goes Broadway, starring 80s pop sensation Deborah (Debbie) Gibson, which is now looking for its Vegas run after a very successful stint at Harrahs in Atlantic City. Eddie received rave reviews for his choreography in the Courier Post and The Daily News calling his work superb and wonderfully animated. The show continues to build up steam as it heads out west and was just hailed as the very best in the production shows featured in all of Atlantic City in 2008. He recently finished choreographing The Flunky: A New Musical in L.A. this past November. He worked with the amazing director Kay Cole (the original Maggie in A Chorus Line) on this hilarious new musical. A show that can only be described as Entourage meets The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This marks the first show Eddie has choreographed that is in pre-production for Broadway! Along the way, Eddie has had the chance to work and dance with a slew of celebrities including: Patrick Swayze, Patti La Belle, Usher, Deborah Gibson, Wayne Brady, Lisa Rinna, George Hamilton, Robin Givens, Harry Hamlin, Kevin Richardson, John OHurley, Gregory Harrison, Jimmy Van Patten, Tom Wopat, Lillias White, Carol Woods (who is also his sons Godmother), Brenda Braxton, and up and coming Broadway sensation Bianca Marroquin. Eddies biggest pride and joy is his family. He became a father in 2007, welcoming his now 2 year old son Raz into his life. He continues to work hard and focus on the important things.

Great I sent this to almost everyone I know loved it. It was always my dream to do what he's doing. My ambitions were cut short in 2009 due to injury. Dancing isn't easy and can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing or your not serious about the art of dance. But everyone should KEEP DANCING. !!!!!!!!!! : )
