  • @vintage1982 Hmmm, let's see. Do you think Marcelo Garcia (5 x World Champion, 4 x ADCC champion) is slow? I don't think so, and he uses the Seated Guard almost exclusively - in fact, that's who Emily learned the finer details of that position from

  • @vintage1982 strange, because I've watched Marcelo Garcia hit high level guys with it and also use it to set up other sweeps and attacks.

  • @vintage1982 If you're not treating jiu jitsu like "math science," I fear you're going to have a very limited game. Thanks so much for this video and all your vids.. I am really considering buying the 5 DVD set!

  • I like that sweep though. I will try it and give some feed back.

  • I wonder how I could apply this in MMA. I'm a sprawl and brawler and I really like open guard.

  • butt scoot sweep!

  • instructor at our club does this all the time to the good stand up fighters and you do feel like an idiot when he does it , surprisingly effective

  • insted of hooking both ancals hook one eather leg holding your ancal around the leg and into the body. throw your self forward (ueasing the tecnece of kuici mackki commi) if you hold the ancal close would that damage the leg???
