  • @spankytclown what if you want to do it on the command line? then what?

  • you know what's easier?

    Build a VM and use the Win7 voice recognition that built into the OS. If you've got a lappy or a desktop, there will be an OEM key on the device somewhere. Use it and save yourself the headache.

  • @emomagica linux is only the name of the kernel not the applications. And yes I agree certain distros do crappy custom kernels. I recommend compiling your own shit noob. Oh and festival is rather fun for text to speech!

  • How is this a demo? I have yet to see anyone actually use Julius for speech 2 text purpose. Linux sucks.

    the one i downloaded didnt not have these many options and most of them where commented out :(
