@kellyadmirer1 Not everyone. Walter Lord, historian, said "Approach to the New World" was above the smoking room's fireplace, because that's the painting he saw when he travelled on board Olympic. But he was wrong. On board Titanic, the painting showed Plymouth Harbour. It was made by Norman Wilkinson.

That painting - isn't that the famous "Approach of the New World" which everyone thought was on the Titanic?
Also, I beg to differ with whoever said that Olympic had an "unblemished" safety record. It collided with a ship in 1911 and with a lighthouse in the 1930s (killing people). Not unblemished by a long shot.

OMG they're playing Songe d'Automne in the dance scene.

I think the addition of lifeboats and ensuring safety features would help...

The Grand Staircase is my favorite part of the Olympic & Titanic.

the tender is in fact the SS Nomadic, not the Traffic as indicated by someone else,

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VIDEO!!! I consider this footage to be among the best I have seen from that period! It is almost as if watching archived footage of Titanic! It is just incredible!
