From the original little kit recordings in June 2010 to the follow-up tapings in August, Mom raccoon came out with the rest of the litter! See how curious 4 kits can be, and watch how independent the original June "Little kit" is!

  • Where did the black cat come from? The little kit knows the right thing to do.

Great capture. The raccoons you film--do you think you film more females than males? I hope Kit comes back in the spring for a visit.

  • @StarPir1315 - Hi! The kit is still coming around - in fact, it's one of the main coons (hehe... not "maine coons" :)) that visits - I need to do a new video showing his latest visits. The cat is someone's pet from down the street where I tape the raccoons, but it's very active outdoors, so you never know when you'll see him - he's been around for years, a very nice cat (when he wants to be!) For the male vs. female thing, the females seem to dominate in the Summer, Males in the colder months.

  • Great video !

Last year I had a mama coon that I fed on my back deck. She got so comfortable with me that she would take hot dogs from my hand. She came around one night with 5 lil ones. It was great to watch. We also had two baby possums, but never saw thier mother. We fed them for a year. One still comes around. Its great enetertainment for us and our cats to watch out of the patio door at night. During the day we get up to a dozen squirrels.

  • @StowAlex - That is so cool! I would love to have a Mom coon that comes up to us! Long story short, but I don't actually have raccoons where I live, all of mine are taped at a friend's house. We do have quite a few squirrels here though, they're definitely interesting to watch when they're smaller! They'll jump all over the place (sometimes out of nowhere) and find endless supplies of branches to make into toys - :)

  • Love Racoons! :))

  • @TopJimmyWinn - Me too! :)

  • @tinaharrased - Thank you so much for saying so! I think so too - kit season's my favorite time of year - :)

  • @Grantmeister32 - Hehehe... something like that - :) Raccoons eat eggs of some birds in the wild (robins, bluejays, smaller birds like that), so he's going to have to get used to it!

  • Really nicely shot and they're so adorable :-)

  • An EGG !!?!?

WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS !?

    XXDDD
