Kevin and Alex discuss the site redesign on the newly released version of Digg. Alex doesn't feel the changes have the Digg community's best interests at heart.

....ok, so I actually slapped together some of the things Albrecht had to say about Facebook Places from the back end of Diggnation episode 269. Still, I think his comments are pretty applicable to this new, horrible and decimated Digg, even if I have taken what he has to say out of context a little bit :P

  • Wow, spot on.

I've been using digg for about four years, but the release of v4 was the last straw. I'm done. This is not just going to blow over.

  • All true. Digg, what a disaster.

  • Both Digg and Diggnation have the same cancer, they threw the experience away for the money. Also Kevin Rose is'nt even close to the person he was in the early years. It's a shame,I used to love both.

  • Boy took you long enough to figure this out. Digg is a your-best-interest business decision sewer.

  • I wish I could throat jab every single one of you whiners. Your sense of entitlement sickens me.

  • How do you know what MY best interest is? How can you say what MY best interest is? What are you trying to say?

  • Give me back labs.digg.com!! .. It felt like I went there my entire internet life .. *cries*

  • I'm deleting my account on Monday, all done with digg. KR Good Luck.

  • people still use digg?

  • @itsSchug How about calling it what it is? "Alex Albrechts thoughts on Facebook's location feature" and then stating in description how it could fit the new digg as well. This is very Fox News to give it a false and shocking title just to gain views.
